Seven&Five: A Story of Family, Art, and Empowerment

At IcedCacti.com, every piece we showcase holds a story, but few are as deeply personal and purposeful as Seven&Five. This unique artwork symbolizes the collaboration between a father and son, bridging generations through creativity and shared values. More than just a painting, it’s a testament to the power of family, art, and community coming together to create meaningful change.

The Inspiration Behind Seven&Five

The story of Seven&Five began with a conversation between Zikki Munyao and his son, Remy (RZMY). Remy’s favorite number is 7, while Zikki’s is 5, and together, they decided to infuse these numbers into a creative concept. The result? A dynamic and abstract painting brought to life during a live video session shared on YouTube. This process not only captured the essence of their bond but also highlighted the beauty of collaboration.

What makes Seven&Five even more special is how the 7 and 5 are intertwined to form a bold and abstract "Z." This "Z" represents the nickname that both Zikki and Remy share—a connection to their name and a reflection of their creative synergy. For Zikki, the "Z" holds layers of personal meaning, serving as both a symbol of their collaboration and a reminder of their shared identity.

For Zikki, this painting holds a profound meaning. As a celebrated artist, he rarely parts with his original Munyao.art creations. Yet, Seven&Five stands out as an exception—a piece he feels compelled to share with the world, not just for its artistic value but for the impact it represents.

Art for Education: The Mission Behind the Sale

The purpose of Seven&Five goes beyond its canvas. It is a cornerstone of the Art for Education Impact Sale, where proceeds will directly support teachers’ salaries and student fees at Mbaikini Girls High School in Wamunyu, Kenya. The Munyao family has been dedicated to supporting Mbaikini Girls from its founding in 2021. Located just 2 kilometers from their home in Kenya, the school has always been close to their hearts. This initiative stems from a deeply held belief that education is the key to unlocking brighter futures, especially for young girls in underserved communities.

By offering signed prints and the original painting for sale, Zikki and his family invite others to join them in this mission. It’s an opportunity for art lovers and changemakers alike to make a tangible difference in the lives of students and educators who are shaping the leaders of tomorrow.

A Rare Opportunity to Own a Munyao.art Original

Zikki rarely sells his original works, which makes Seven&Five an extraordinary opportunity for collectors. The painting’s vibrant colors and bold, abstract lines speak to the energy and passion behind its creation. The signed prints offer another way to own a piece of this remarkable story while supporting a cause that resonates deeply with the Munyao family.
